“I want to go on record as endorsing John Vihstadt for the County Board,” Taylor said.  “John has worked effectively in the County and especially in the Nauck community for years previous to and while a member of the Board, during which time the community has moved closer to having an expanded voice in how it views its future growth,” Taylor continued.

Concluded Taylor, a former president of the Nauck Civic Association and author of Bridge Builders of Nauck/Green Valley: Past and Present, “John’s honest, pragmatic and hopeful insight into our community’s problems and needs, and his willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to our questions and concerns, sets him far apart.”

Vihstadt said, “I am humbled and excited to have Dr. Taylor’s support for another term on the County Board.   We continue to collaborate on issues ranging from the Four Mile Run Valley planning process to the new Nauck Town Square and other community development matters.”

Vihstadt is concluding his first four year-term on the County Board and is on the November 6 ballot for re-election.
